Training, Education and Competency

Our employees are professionally trained through accredited institutions and kept up-to-date on the latest inspection and skill methods, equipment, techniques through the ASNT, PCN and ABENDI bodies.

IRM is fully committed to our competency programs by ensuring all personnel have portfolios with evidence of training, experience and certification and are examined in house and externally on various techniques and product technology, as an ongoing process to ensure we provide the highest service in the inspection, repair, and maintenance industry.

The company has undertaken a commitment to ensure all “employees” shall be deemed competent to fulfil the various functions associated with their specific job. This shall be achieved by a combination of education, knowledge, skill, prior experience training and assessment.

To ensure that the industry specific competence standards are achieved, detailed competence systems have been be developed to meet the requirements of the employees and the company, who are continuously assessed against the standards.
